Asharqia Chamber signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the
Social Development Bank to improve the financial culture of owners of
small institutions.
Asharqia
Chamber and the Social Development Bank signed a Memorandum of
Understanding on Monday (14 August 2017) to implement training programs aiming at raising the level of "financial
culture" according to scientific principles.
The memorandum was signed by the Secretary General of the Chamber
Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel and the representative of the Bank,
Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Namla.
The
secretary-general of Al-Ghafrah Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel said
that the signing of this memorandum "from the direction of the
Chamber represented by the management of small and
medium institutions in supporting the owners of these facilities and to
provide all ways to make their projects successful and improve their

Al-Wabel said that this memorandum reflects the desire of the two
parties to cooperate in order to raise awareness of the private sector
investors about the important aspects of developing the skills of owners
of small and medium institutions.
The memorandum specifies the functions of Asharqia Chamber in
nominating the trainees from the project owners for the specialized
training programs and activities (in agreement with the representatives
of the bank) and providing the appropriate premises as available for joint activities and activities for the purpose agreed
in the memorandum within the appropriate schedules of the parties.
On the other hand, the memorandum defines the most important
commitments of the bank in providing scientific material, activities,
education and awareness programs in the economic field to serve the
small and medium institutions, as well as providing lecturers, trainers,
material and publications.
